Book with Single Author

1st FootnoteJohn Adams, Introduction to Graphic Design (London: V&B Press, 2019), 23-24

Short/2nd Footnote: Adams, Introduction to Graphic Design, 46

(Short footnotes are used for 2nd and subsequent footnotes for the same publication)

Ibid: short for Ibidem. This may be used instead of publication details if the source is referred to again immediately after is has first been cited. If you are referring to a different page, add the new page number, e.g. "Ibid., 93".

Book with Multiple Authors

1st FootnotePaolo Bocconi, Alberto Milano and F.Orso, The Italian Renaissance (Milan: Albinara Press, 2018), 112.

Short/2nd Footnote: Bocconi, Milano and Orso, The Italian Renaissance, 191.

4 Authors or More: list the 1st author and then add "et al.".
