A Ukrainian artist, Volo Bevza, whose exhibition in Kyiv was halted due to the Russian invasion is now building anti-tank obstacles. He and a group of local men, among them several artists, are using an old metal workshop to construct anti-tank obstacles (also known as “hedgehogs”). After fleeing their homes and studios, these artists are doing what they can to help defend their country. The anti-tank hedgehogs they made have been sent all over Ukraine, to protect cities. Have a look at this article from Hyperallergic to learn more about their work, see photos of the hedgehogs they've made and find out about a fundraiser to support them.
