A continuing learning effect
This project presented all the players with a lot of continuous learning opportunities, learning was ongoing from the beginning right up to the end. The interaction between all players brought about a deep understanding of the relationship between the various stakeholders, thus it helped in the understanding of each other's position. Reflective learning, echoed throughout the journey thus it reverberated upon all stakeholders, resulting in the successful completion of the set goal.
- The convergence of library requirements and the student marketing skills resulted in the production of some good bank of Social Media campaigns for the library.
- The library got a good understanding of how students approached the use of library resources, and were there to provide continuous guidance.
- Real life and practical learning took place within the confines of the library (the physical space, virtually and with library resources - including human expertise).
- Through proper planning, meetings and feedback platforms students work was guided to completion within set deadlines.
- The successful completion to high standards of the professional projects within the set deadlines meant the library helped the learning outcomes to be achieved.
With smiles, TU Dublin Library Services took pride in successfully extending the role of the library beyond the provision physical and virtual resources.
