The Library as a client in enhancing student industry-oriented learning

Introduction

This poster showcases the collaboration between the Library Services and a Digital Marketing Lecturer who approached the library to begin a collaboration for mentoring students in their final year Digital Marketing professional project. This is a report of the journey that took place to make this project happen. It was a learning journey, not only for the students but also for the library.

The beginning:

Late September 2022 – The Library Services was approached by a Digital Marketing lecturer, who over the years had noticed and appreciated the good work that the library does with it's digital footprint. The lecturer was convinced that the work done by the library through it's various social media handles, was a perfect fit for giving students some good experience as part of their final year professional project.
