Teaching Support

The library team can work with you to develop and deliver information literacy classes using subject specific resources for your students.  Classes can be once off, project based or embedded into a specific module.

Classes offered include

  • Introduction to the library service
  • Searching for information
  • Using electronic resources
  • Advanced searching techniques – including citation searching, altmetrics, snowballing, etc.
  • Using specialist databases, including SciVAL, Web of Science, Science Direct, etc
  • Referencing
  • Literature Review
  • Critical Reading

Research Support

If you are conducting research for study or publication, library staff are also happy to provide support and training on a one-to-one basis.
