If you need to find the full-text of a journal article try these options:
- Does TU Dublin have access to it?
- Search Google Scholar
- Try Open Access Button or Unpaywall.
- install these bookmarklets in your browser and they can help locate an open access version of the article
- Or try the CORE Discovery tool for open access versions of the article.
- Email the authors and ask if they would be willing to supply a copy of the article.
- Author contact details are usually supplied in the database article citation
- Or contact the authors via Researchgate or Academia.edu and ask them to share a copy of their paper
- Check to see if another academic library has it in print format
- Use our Inter Library Loan Service
- We will try and obtain the article for you from another library. There is a six euro processing charge for undergraduates and an eight euro fee for postgraduates. Find out more about Inter Library Loans.
- If all else fails you may have to buy the article from the publisher.
