Don’t just take my word for this, the DU Dublin General Assessment Regulations takes a grim view of plagiarism –
There are 15 references to plagiarism, what constitutes plagiarism, how to avoid it and procedures for suspected cases. I'm not a lawyer...yet, but in particular see Appendix 1 part 3 How to avoid plagiarism. “Plagiarism, and other forms of cheating, are breaches of academic values, academic conventions and codes of practice…….The best way to avoid plagiarism is to become informed”
For further help there is a software tool provided by TU Dublin called Safe Assign which can help you properly attribute sources and prevent plagiarism.
