Communicate Research

Communicating research now covers a wide spectrum of activity. In previous years it was sufficient to do the research, write it up and sit back to wait to see what the academic world thought of it. Now researchers need to be aware of a whole range of different audiences with whom they need to interact. Some of these interactions will be with their academic peers as in the literature but also in social networking sites like ResearchGate or Academia.edu,  with the general public as in Twitter, blogs or podcasts,  or with funders and other institutional bodies.
